Project Post
It's been a while since I did one of these. Pictures suck, because I don't have anywhere good to take them. Just some random things I made this year.

Massively huge scrap yarn project. Size S hook, and five strands of yarn at a time. It's as long as the sofa and wide enough to drape over the whole thing. And I STILL didn't use up all my scrap yarn. I only stopped because the blanket got huge and I got bored with it.

Bigass cabin square. I saw a design on Ravelry that was a blanket made out of a whole bunch of little squares like this, but I wanted to do a big one. Size P hook with super bulky yarn.

Giant granny squares. This was the project that I learned how to do granny squares on, so they're a bit wonky. Size P hook with super bulky yarn.

Small lap blanket. Not much to say here. Variable weight yarn and size N hook.
A few in-progress projects:

The much discussed Holmes afghan. This is actually the second go, since the first time I got the gauge completely wrong. Size F hook this go round, and it's looking much better. The colours are completely wrong, but after a small test square, I found that tea-staining it when I'm done will homogenise the colours quite nicely.

Another scrap yarn project. I mainly wanted to see if granny squares of multiple sizes could fit together. Apparently, they can. Size I hook.

What has come to be known as the Bumblebag. It's going to hold all of my hooks and needles when it's done. Size... something (I don't actually know. J, I think) afghan hook.
