haha whoops

So, it's Joe's birthday, and I told him I'd go over there to watch a movie with him. I really didn't want to, mainly just because I was tired and not feeling well, but I went anyway.

And then fell asleep about 15 minutes into Quantum of Solace. This is why I should not go do things two hours after I normally go to bed.

In other news, my computer was giving me a red blinking warning light* down at the bottom. I clicked it to see what it was about.

FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CLARK COUNTY, NV UNTIL SUNDAY, AUGUST 08 2010 3:00 AM PDT.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a

*FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR... EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEVADA...

It goes on, but you get the point. It's 82°, the sky is purple, and the bits that aren't purple are covered in clouds. The warning is supposed to expire in about an hour, but around here, they have a habit of being extended to the point of lasting a few days. At least I'm on the third floor.

And now, since I'm so tired that it took me three tries to click on the option to change my mood, the first two times clicking on other buttons that do not change my mood, I am going to bed.

* I get weather alerts on my computer for exactly this sort of reason. There are four levels. Blue: Other than being absolutely unbearable, nothing's happening. Yellow: Hey, the weather's doing something that you'd expect it to do this time of year, but since it's different than what it was doing yesterday, we'll let you know. Orange: Hey, the weather's doing something that you'd expect it to do this time of year, but it may damage your car in the process. Red: GET IN THE CAR! IT'S A LION!
