The blue one I wear normally is about four feet. That's also the only one I have that was bought. All the ones I've made, save one, are really long.

I have no idea, I have worn really long scarves since the age of about thirteen. I don't know why, most of the time they bug the crap out of me.

I did try wearing a Sherlock-length one over the winter. It also bugged me. Less than the longer ones, so maybe I'm doomed. (Seriously, it was all like up in my business just like OHAI LET'S BE FRIENDS. The longer ones at least don't poke you in the face.)

My blue one's about that length. It's not tartan though, and a really vile shade of blue. But soft as hell and I quite like it.
