If a second series of Dirk Gently doesn't happen, I will be very sad.

I know the odds of it happening are probably about the same as Jim showing back up in series 3 of Sherlock, so I guess it's time to start readying myself for disappointment.

It was very good, I reckon it could have been upgraded from BBC 4 to a proper channel. (Though I maintain it still looks like a Sherlock spoof - perhaps it's Stephen Mangan's hair).

Haven't seen the last one yet.

It actually does a really good job at adhering to canon. Not all of it made it in (I reckon they couldn't work out a way to fit in Norse gods having temper tantrums), and some of it did get shuffled about a bit, but it's very much what it should have been. :D

And while trying to avoid spoilers, I will say this: when watching this week's episode, keep in mind that they would have been filming at roughly the same time as Sherlock, making some things rather astoundingly coincidental. Appropriately enough.
