Warm(ish) air, everything is dry, and most importantly, I'm not using my mum's worthless shampoo any more.
Seriously, I think my hair got even more greasy and disgusting after I'd shower over there than it was before I washed it. Now that I'm back home, and have used my own stuff, my hair has returned to its natural state of being all over the place and not cooperating with anything.
I am so not kidding when I say that by the end, my hair had reached a point where I could stand it straight up under its own greasiness. I will gladly take hair in my eyes over that, any day.
I got it cut while I was up there, though. Long hair is simply not for me. I hate it on my neck and over my ears. I did learn that I do sort of like it really long on top, though. It took a bit of explaining and experimenting with the lady at Great Clips, but I really like the result.
