And now, because I am bored

Seven Deadly Sins Challenge

Day One: Pride - Seven great things about yourself
Day Two: Envy - Seven things you lack and covet
Day Three: Wrath - Seven things that piss you off
Day Four: Sloth - Seven things you neglect to do
Day Five: Greed - Seven worldly material desires
Day Six: Gluttony - Seven guilty pleasures
Day Seven: Lust - Seven love secrets

1. My IQ is 169. This is the first time I've ever put that out in a public space.

2. I've been published three times in three separate anthologies. Again, not something I usually like to throw out there.

3. I make the best spaghetti bolognaise on the planet.

4. I've had no formal art training, outside of two pottery classes, and a drawing class that I ditched after less than a week, because it was boring (the pottery classes, however, were quite fun).

5. I've never finished a science class with less than 100% for my final grade. I have finished with far more than that, however.

6. In high school, I failed English/Lit courses five times over three years. Yes, I do take pride in this, because my high school English/Lit teachers, with one exception, were all idiots. When I was finally thrown into the remedial classes, where the teacher let me read ACD and F Scott Fitzgerald (rather than the YA drivel that was being passed off as literature), I managed to pass without incident. She was really cool, and I wish I could remember her name. She was brilliant, and restored my faith a bit in high school teachers. Also, it just goes to show that you don't need good marks to pull off my second point.

7. When I was 12, I was told that I'd never walk again. If I'm really desperate and running late, I can still run to catch a bus. I hate it, and it hurts, but I can still do it.
