Eurgh
That's become one of my favourite words, of late. "Eurgh." It says so much without saying anything at all, and it's exactly how I feel right now.
I learned something last night. It actually gets cold in the front room, with all the lights off and the fan on. I slept out here, just like I'd planned, and I think I will be doing so on a more permanent basis -- at least until the weather turns back to "stupidly cold," and then I'll start sleeping in the bedroom again.
Two things happened this morning that I hadn't accounted for. Since Ryan went into work at the "normal" time, I'd expected him to be home at the "normal" time, ie- just after 7:00am. Only, I'd forgotten that he'd intended on making up some hours, and went in earlier than he does on Sundays. He was still home late, though, and that threw me. When he got home at around 8:30-ish, I decided to go back to the bedroom and get a few more hours of sleep, expecting him to go to bed at 11:00, like he always does. That would give me a good hour and then some to get ready, check my messages, and read my blogs before going down to the college.
Except he didn't. He decided to stay up late. I woke up at noon, giving me about ten minutes to shower and get out the door.
Testing wasn't what I had expected. When I tested at MHCC, it was all done through multiple choice-type questions. This one was all essays, and show your work, and it'll take about six weeks to get the results back.
Or about the week before classes start. So, this first term may be fairly breezy, since I'm not going to wait until the week before classes to register. I already know what I plan on going in for, so I'm meeting up with an advisor tomorrow morning at 8:00 to get somewhat started.
Eurgh.
