I just totally broke my desk, trying to get up from checking my email.

I'm not sure that it can be fixed.

Crisis averted. It appears as though this desk was built with very clumsy people in mind, and that the part that fell off did so with absolutely no damage to any of the three pieces the desk wound up in.

Yay! :D
