Got myself a new netbook yesterday. I'm sick of the desktop, for several reasons. I don't really do anything much beyond muck about on LJ and write, so I think a netbook will be a better fit.
I'm not on it yet. I'm still waiting for UPS' working hours to begin, so they can deliver it. And then I'm off to Best Buy to get a new wireless router so that I'm not confined to the sofa (like I am now, when I use the desktop).
But that's what today will be spent doing. Getting that thing all set up and moving some of my more important stuff over. Luckily, most of it is already on DVDs from my recent adventures in system back-up, so it's mostly just my documents and music, since I can't remember what's new since I backed all that stuff up.
The next thing on my list of things to get is a small kitchen table, to put by the window.
