I now know why my new mouse was only $7. The mouse itself is excellent. Perfect size for my tiny hands, centre click that actually works, and isn't very jittery at all.
The USB connection, however, utter shit. It's way too big. Sticks out awkwardly, and rather gets in the way if you're using a laptop on a surface other than a table, ie your LAP. Also, my cats like to make out with it, and I'm fairly sure that it's already got a short, after less than a fortnight.
I may break down and get a proper laptop mouse with a proper USB connection that hardly sticks out at all. Best Buy had some good Logitech mice. I just didn't feel like spending money on Logitech last time, because they are a bit expensive. But I think it will probably be worth it.
