Stupid Fred
May. 6th, 2011 11:34 amIt's been getting rather unbearably hot in here the last few days. Which, it's about time, really. Winter lasted far too long this year.
But it was hot, and even I find it gets to be too much at times. But the A/C is on, and is in working order with a clean air filter and everything. I couldn't work out what was wrong with it.
Turns out, it was Fred, with his two giant peacoats and his Fourth Doctor scarf. He was blocking all the cold air from getting to the rest of the flat. I've moved his bony arse to the other side of the room, and it's already wonderfully cool in here. With him gone, I may even be able to move the table a bit so it's not half on the carpet, half not. Maybe. If I can be bothered.
Which I don't think I can.
In other news, I was going to go to Best Buy today. But I'm looking at the rising temperature, with the forecast to reach 95f today, and you know what? Can't be bothered to do that, either. I think I'll stay in and order the things I need from the internet.
